The Emotron M20 shaft power monitor offers pump protection for positive displacement and centrifugal pumps. The Emotron M20 utilizes a sensor that detects current from the electric motor. It is designed to detect overload and underload conditions. When detecting abnormal conditions the monitor can be programmed to send a warning or shut down the pump. It is excellent for systems that may experience the following conditions:
  • Dry-Running/Cavitation
  • Inefficiency due to low flow, a closed valve, a blocked pipe, etc.
Emotron M20 shaft power monitors require NO special programming and NO external power supply. They are small enough to fit into a typical motor starter enclosure and can be set in as little as 3 seconds!
